Slow and Shy

Yep, that’s pretty much me in a nutshell.

I’ve been thinking more about wanting to join some sort of running group, but the above adjectives are hindering me.

I think if I was less shy, I would worry less about being the slowest, or if could keep up with any average runner, I wouldn’t be so afraid to show up, but I feel like I need a giant disclaimer on my shirt.

I hope you find a running group you like. It is hard being shy, I have suffered from it my whole life, although I feel like the older I get the better it gets.

  2. Joining a running club was scary for me too. But the people are so friendly. I highly recommend it. :)
And thanks for visiting my blog! It’s always nice to meet new people.

Thank you for commenting on my post. I clicked over and found your blog. I totally relate! I would be too shy to join a running club too. When I did the 3 day I joined a local team and still walk with them on a regular basis. But, I am kind of intimdiated by runners and I’m kind of shy and sort of awkward.
Oh and that shirt is cute!

Got something to say?
